Friday after my haircut and work we were heading to Boston with the bikes. Charles gave me another bike for Flora. So our strategy was to get to Boston park somewhere it is free and ride the bike around the city.

On the way to Boston

This was the best Airbnb.com accommodation ever.
Highly recommended!!

We had the entire floor with the roof garden, Jacuzzi and the huge bed in the room plus healthy hand-made breakfast from a lovely host Monique

The story behind the freedom trail is that you have to pay 15$ or even more to go on the trail. While I was in the toilet Flora heard that the whole tour is about following the big red line. And the tour is just 90 minutes however we rode all the way to the end for free.

Now this is in Rockport
This is a lovely, typical New England style, old, authentic fisherman town.

On the main road every old building is turned into a nice shop, from art galleries to restaurants to potteries to whatever authentic.

On the edge

This was a really cool place! I ate oyster, it couldn't be fresher!

Right from the ice and from the shell with a bit of lemon

Before me

My first whole lobster in my life! It was so funny how I ate the delicious animal. I thought it is going to be small for a lunch, but after I was done with it I felt actually full. It is a great and fancy process that I always wanted to try.

Nice plates

Nice plates from the other direction

I had to actually go back to the fish market and catch a lobster alive just for fun.

Flora's shop of the shells. They were really beautiful.

Vanilla ice-cream with hot apple strudel from the best strudel place in Rockport.
Yummy stuff on the dam

The scene

Rockport's main seafood is the lobster. If you look for the freshest lobster, come here!

Great time!

I was not supposed to climb up there. The whole tower was full of rust and it was shaking:) But I made it.
Mom, don't read this.:)

Looking for sea snails, we collected a lot of them and brought them home. Shells are on the tv.

Flora is with the lobster traps.

I am fishing with a young newbie for tricky fish with huge rusty hook and some salami on it. It was impossible to catch any of those. He told me that in a 15 minute lecture he learnt a lot about fishing. It was a great feeling teaching him.

And on Sunday night we arrived home.

Flora is fishing

Happy friends in the Common
