At the Union Station

With the Liberty Bell in D.C. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberty_Bell

Union Station inside - this place was truly amaizing! They simply turned a railway station into a plaza!
It was wow!
In Washington D.C. everything was about the inaguration ceremony of Obama.

Another photo inside

After finding a parking spot where it turned out that we don't have to pay we had to realize that the Washington Monument has been under reconstruction since 2011. Anyway we took some photos and that was it.

At the Washington Monument! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washington_Monument

At the United States Capitol - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Capitol

This is the liberty statue from the top of the building. At every place we had free tourguide with enthusiastic guides that were so eager to share their proud American history. Every exhibition was very-well designed, catchy, interactive, fun! That was the first time when walking around in a museum was fun!

Under the dome.

Those chicks were just so bitchy. They were making faces and wasted our time as well, because we were waiting for them to leave, but it never happened. I think they are still there....

This pic was taken at the American-Indian museum. We were so exhausted, had to take a nap in the musem. Everybody fell asleep but Xiao. We didn't understand why it was. Fur us it was a bit boring, however the wi-fi was incredibly fast!

Apollo 11 - original space cabin that went to the Moon!

Touching a piece of rock from the Moon!

All these photos were take at the National Air and Space Museum. This is the original plane of the Wright brothers that was flying at the first in history.

At the Lincoln Memorial

At the World War II Memorial. I do not know what was so funny, but something for sure:)

This picture is dedicated for my girlfriend, Flora! I am standing on the ice of a lake in the National Mall. It wasn't enough thick, so i was just hoping not to land in the freezing water. It was worth my efforts.:)

We also visited the Arlington Cemetery - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arlington_National_Cemetery
And the Pentagon building from outside, non-resident aliens like us cannot visit the building. I am not sure if anyone can visit it though.

That was a wonderful trip! Our last trip with our Xiao.
